Women's Cross Country Competes At NCAA Midwest Regional

OSHKOSH, Wis. (WLCSports.com) – Freshman Mikaela Sullivan (Wauwatosa, Wis.) led the Wisconsin Lutheran College women's cross country team on Saturday at the NCAA Division III Midwest Regional at Lake Breeze Golf Course. The Warriors placed 27th out of 35 scoring teams at the event.

  • Top WLC Individual: Mikaela Sullivan, 116th of 257, 24:46.7

  • Sullivan, who finished in the top half of the 257-competitor field, finishing 116th in a time of 24:46.7.
  • Senior Becca Heller (South Milwaukee, Wis.) closed her Warriors career with a personal-best 6K time of 25:17.9, finishing 138th.
  • Freshman Brooke Graesslin (Janesville, Wis.) completed the 6K course in a time of 25:41.0 to finish 154th.
  • Senior Megan Kuether (New Berlin, Wis.) finished 182nd, running a season-best time of 26:29.2.
  • Freshman Hannah Lawless (Danvers, Ill.) out-ran her previous personal best time by 65.3 seconds, finishing right behind Kuether in a time of 26:29.7, finishing 183rd.
  • Wisconsin Lutheran posted its best team finish since 2016 at the regional and compiled its lowest team score since 2012.


  • Washington University had all five of its scoring runners place inside the top 13 to win the regional title with 37 points. The Bears' Paige Lawler topped the large 6K field with a winning time of 21:53.0.


  • Today marked the final meet of the 2019 Warriors cross country season. WLC will return to the course next fall.
