Rosenow Breaks Two Records At Panther Tune-Up

MILWAUKEE ( – Leah Rosenow (Temecula, Calif.) broke two school records and Hannah Weide (New Berlin, Wis.) took home first place in the 3,000m run Saturday inside the Klotsche Center as the Wisconsin Lutheran College women's track & field team competed at the Panther Tune-Up.

  • Weide registered a first-place finish in the 3,000m run with a time of 11:15.60, out-running the second-place finisher by nearly six seconds. 
  • Rosenow jumped to a second-place finish in the Long Jump with a mark of 5.23m, breaking her own record jump of 5.12m. Rosenow also placed third in the Triple Jump with a school-record mark of 10.48m, breaking the school record of 10.25m set back in 2010.
  • Kendra Schumacher (Little Chute, Wis.) placed second out of seven runners in the 400m dash with a time of 1:03.62.
  • Sami Huebner (Sun Prairie, Wis.) was third of eight runners in the 60m Hurdles with a time of 9.70. She also registered a third-place finish in the 200m dash with a time of 27.18, missing out on second by just .04 seconds.
  • Becca Heller (South Milwaukee, Wis.) recorded a fifth-place finish in the 800m run with a time of 2:28.38.
  • Grace Morgan (Potosi, Wis.) placed sixth of 18 throwers in the Shot Put with a distance of 9.74m while Sarah Snyder (Green Bay, Wis.) registered a seventh-place finish in the Weight Throw with a toss of 11.80m. 
  • Jenna Schmitz (Fox Lake, Wis.) finished sixth in the Long Jump with a leap of 4.60m and seventh in the Triple Jump with a mark of 9.16m 
  • Natalie Lendt (Watertown, S.D.) placed sixth in the Triple Jump with a mark of 9.36m and talliled an eighth-place finish in the Long Jump with a 4.41m leap.
  • Kiana Granath (Lodi, Wis.) jumped to a seventh-place finish in the Long Jump, registering a mark of 4.57m.
  • Micayla Bork (San Jose, Calif.) placed eighth in the 200m dash with a time of 30.91.
  • The 4x400m relay team of Granath, Rosenow, Heller, and Schumacher placed second with a time of 4:21.46 while the second relay team of Madeleine Steber (Green Bay, Wis.), Huebner, Kaylyn Shevey (Muskego, Wis.), and Weide was third with a time of 4:29.03.

  • The Warriors travel to Kenosha next weekend for the NACC Indoor Championships. Events are scheduled to begin at 11:00 a.m. inside the Tarble Athletic and Recreation Center on the Carthage campus.
