Warriors Compete At Panther-Tune Up

MILWAUKEE - ­The Wisconsin Lutheran College women's indoor track & field team competed on Friday night at the Panther Tune-Up inside the Klotsche Center hosted by UW-Milwaukee.

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • Cassie Balts (Barron, Wis./Barron) placed third in the 3,000-meter run with a time of 11:43.17. Also in the 3,000, Kristina Schuette (Manitowoc, Wis./Lutheran) placed fifth with a time of 13:08.56.
  • Amanda Frier (Oostburg, Wis./Oostburg) raced to a fourth-place finish in the 60-meter hurdles with a mark of 9.45 seconds.
  • Kiana Granath (Lodi, Wis./Lodi) cleared the 1.48-meter height for the high jump, resulting in a fourth-place finish. Granath also competed in the triple jump where she placed sixth after a leap of 10.14 meters.
  • Esther Harbach (Mukwonago, Wis./Mukwonago) finished sixth in the pole vault with a mark of 2.70 meters.
  • Jessica Stumpner (Crystal Lake, Ill./South) raced to a seventh-place finish in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:29.88.
  • Marisah Hilger (Waukesha, Wis./North) leaped to a eighth-place standing in the triple jump with a distance of 9.01 meters.
  • No team scores were recorded in the competition.

UP NEXT

  • The Warriors will compete again next Saturday at the NACC Indoor Championships in Kenosha. Events are scheduled to begin inside the Tarble Athletic and Recreation Complex at 11 a.m.
