Warriors Compete Saturday At Parkside Classic

SOMERS, Wis. - The Wisconsin Lutheran College women's indoor track & field team competed on Saturday at the Parkside Classic. The Warriors finished with 27 points for seventh place among 15 scoring teams who were represented at the meet.

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • After finishing first among 20 competitors in the prelims of the 55-meter hurdles, Amanda Frier (Oostburg, Wis./Oostburg) posted a finals time of 8.77 for a second-place finish, one of two on the day for the Warriors.
  • Kiana Granath (Lodi, Wis./Lodi) also recorded a second-place finish, this time in the high jump with a height of 1.45 meters.
  • Esther Harbach (Mukwonago, Wis./Mukwonago) placed sixth in the pole vault with a height of 2.85 meters.
  • WLC's distance medley relay team was third with a time of 14:59.21, while the 4x800-meter relay team came in eighth at 11:20.77.
  • Marquette won the 15-team meet with 130 points.
