LA CROSSE, Wis. - Wisconsin Lutheran College senior women's track & field athlete Jenny Ebeling (Muskego, Wis./Wisconsin Lutheran) set three personal bests and a pair of school records on her way to finishing seventh out of 12 competitors Thursday and Friday in the heptathlon at the UW-La Crosse Phil Esten Challenge.
Ebeling scored a school-record 4101 points to finish seventh out of 12 competitors who competed in eight different events. The senior placed second in both the shot put (11.22 meters) and javelin throw (37.10 meters). Her shot put mark was good for a school record, while her height of 1.48 meters in the high jump was also good for a personal best.
Ebeling and Wisconsin Lutheran will compete at the St. Norbert Invitational tomorrow at Schneider Stadium in De Pere. Events begin at 10:30 a.m.
