Ebeling Paces Women's Track & Field At St. Norbert

DE PERE, Wis. - The Wisconsin Lutheran College women's track & field team competed Thursday at the St. Norbert Twilight at Schneider Stadium. WLC finished sixth with 10 points.

Jenny Ebeling (Muskego, Wis./Wisconsin Lutheran) posted a trio of top-10 finishes for the Warriors, including a first-place finish in the javelin (36.29 meters), fourth in the 800 meters (2:28.12), and sixth in the shot put (10.59 meters).

Amanda Frier (Oostburg, Wis./Oostburg) finished second in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 15.88.

Julie Favorite (New London, Wis./Fox Valley Lutheran) took home third in the 5,000 meters finishing in 18:39.11.

Andrea Hafemeister (Milwaukee, Wis./Wauwatosa West) competed in the javelin and used a toss of 27.84 meters to place third. She also finished ninth in the discus (30.47 meters) and raced in the 800 meters (2:48.67).

Jessica Stumpner (Crystal Lake, Ill./South) placed eighth in the 800 meters with a time of 2:35.97.

Kate Naujock (Livonia, Mich./Michigan Lutheran Seminary) posted a ninth-place finishing time of 28.13 in the 200 meters and 11th in the 100 meters with a finish of 13.96.

Taylor Remstad (South Lyon, Mich./South Lyon) competed in the 200 meters (29.03) and 400 meters (1:07.55). Tori Remstad (South Lyon, Mich./South Lyon) also participated in the 400 meters with a time of 1:04.11.

Anna Curtis (Palmetto, Ga./Homeschooled) recorded a 10th-place finish in the 3,000 meters in 12:14.43. She also participated in the 800 meters with a finish of 2:50.61. Cassie Balts (Barron, Wis./Barron) placed 11th in the 3,000 meters with a time of 12:18.19.

Also competing in the field events for WLC were Erika Koenig (Waukesha, Wis./West) with a 8.77 meter toss in the shot put, and Kalia Bergmann (Milwaukee, Wis./Lutheran) who finished 10th in the discus with a toss of 29.76 meters.

St. Norbert totaled 56 points to win its six-team home meet.
