MILWAUKEE - Christa Winslow (Dousman, Wis./Wisconsin Lutheran) helped the Wisconsin Lutheran College women's track & field team to 28 of its 62 points as it finished fifth out of 11 teams at its home invite, the Warrior Invitational, Saturday at Raabe Stadium.
Winslow won the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 17.49. She also was part of the 4x400-meter relay team that won the event with a time of 4:12.87. Winslow was joined on the relay by Jenny Ebeling (Muskego, Wis./Wisconsin Lutheran), Taylor Remstad (South Lyon, Mich./South Lyon), and Tori Remstad (South Lyon, Mich./South Lyon). The relay team of Aislyn Keyes (South Milwaukee, Wis./South Milwaukee), Remstad, Remstad, and Winslow placed third in the sprint medley with a school-record time of 1:58.30.
Keyes placed fourth in the triple jump with a leap of 9.81 meters and took fifth in the high jump with a height of 1.45 meters.
Amberly Weiglein (Brownsville, Wis./Winnebago Lutheran) crossed the line in 13.46 seconds to finish third in the 100-meter dash. She also placed eighth in the shot put with a distance of 10.63 meters.
Amanda Bregger (Waukesha, Wis./South) took home fourth place in pole vault with a height of 2.90 meters. She placed sixth in the long jump with a distance of 4.50 meters and finished 13th in the 200-meter dash with a time of 29.66.
Jessica Stumpner (Crystal Lake, Ill./South) finish eighth in the 800 meters, clocking in at 2:41.67. Chris Sosinksi (Antioch, Ill./Shoreland Lutheran) recorded a javelin throw of 23.18 meters to finish eighth in the event.
St. Norbert won the meet with a score of 207 points.
Wisconsin Lutheran will compete at the St. Norbert Twilight Meet Thursday at 3 p.m. at Schneider Stadium in De Pere.
