MILWAUKEE - The Wisconsin Lutheran College women's track & field team competed at the Panther Tune-Up Saturday at the Klotsche Center, finishing third overall out of eight teams with 41 points.
Amanda Bregger (Waukesha, Wis./South) vaulted a school-record 3.45 meters to take first in the pole vault. In the long jump, Bregger placed third with a leap of 4.97 meters. She also placed highly in the triple jump, taking second with a jump of 9.77 meters. Aislyn Keyes (South Milwaukee, Wis./South Milwaukee) placed third, jumping 9.60 meters. Keyes also recorded a jump of 1.45 meters in the high jump to take home first place in the event.
Christa Winslow (Dousman, Wis./Wisconsin Lutheran) and Jenny Ebeling (Muskego, Wis./Wisconsin Lutheran) finished first and second, respectively, in the 60-meter hurdles. Winslow finished in 9.89, while Ebeling crossed the line in 10.58. Ebeling also competed in the shot put, tossing 10.42 meters for third place.
Tori Remstad (South Lyon, Mich./South Lyon) captured first place in the 400-meter dash, finishing in 1:05.67. Taylor Remstad (South Lyon, Mich./South Lyon) took third in the same event, completing the race in 1:10.09.
The 4x400-meter relay team of Tori Remstad, Ebeling, Taylor Remstad, and Winslow took second with a time of 4:21.85.
The Warriors' next event will come Saturday at the NACC Indoor Championships. Events from the Tarble Athletic and Recreation Center in Kenosha are scheduled to begin at 11 a.m.
