WLC Falls In Final Road Battle At MSOE

MILWAUKEE (WLCSports.com) - The Wisconsin Lutheran College women's soccer team dropped its final road contest of the season Saturday afternoon at MSOE, falling 3-0 to the Raiders in Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference action at Viets Field.

  • Records: Wisconsin Lutheran (4-13-0, 3-8-0 NACC), MSOE (11-5-2, 8-2-1 NACC)

  • The Raiders' Caitie LeVasseur netted a pair of first-half goals in the 14th and 29th minutes to give MSOE a 2-0 lead at halftime.
  • Brooke Zidek scored MSOE's third and final goal of the contest in the 64th minute for a 3-0 margin.

  • Freshman goalkeeper Kayla Pagel (Kenosha, Wis.) made seven saves on 10 shots faced throughout 90:00 minutes of action.

  • Caitie LeVasseur totaled five shots and three on goal to lead the Raiders, who tallied 18 shots and 10 on goal for the match. Abbie Lorenz played the opening 45:00 minutes in net for MSOE and earned the win. She was one of three keepers to play in the game.
