Mortell Earns 10th Career Win At CUW Quad

MEQUON, Wis. ( - Junior Ellyn Mortell (Eden Prairie, Minn./St. Croix Lutheran) fired an 83 to earn medalist honors at the Concordia Wisconsin Quadrangular on Sunday at Mee-Kwon Park Golf Course. The Warriors finished third out of four teams with a 445.

  • Mortell shot an 83 to metal one shot ahead of second-place Sami Williams from Lakeland. It was the 10th career win for Mortell. 
  • Jordan Fenney (Erin, Wis./Hartford) finished seventh overall after carding a 98. 
  • Brianna LeFebre (Oconto Falls, Wis./Oconto Falls) carded a 125 for 13th place. 
  • Caroline Kuether (Crete, Ill./Illinois Lutheran) tied for 17th with a 139 and Sydney Osborn (Pardeeville, Wis./Pardeeville) rounded out the Warriors' lineup with a 149. 
  • The Warriors shot a round of 445 (+162) for third place to finish 71 shots ahead of fourth-place Alverno. 
  • Lakeland won the event with a round of 367 (+83). The Muskies finished 25 strokes in front of second-place Concordia Wisconsin.



  • The Warriors will next compete on Friday in the Alverno Quadrangular at Greenfield Park Golf Course in West Allis. Tee time is scheduled for 1:30 p.m.
