Women's Golf Takes Third At Marian Fall Invite

FOND DU LAC, Wis. - The Wisconsin Lutheran College women's golf team competed at the Marian Fall Invite Sunday at Whispering Springs Golf Club. The Warriors finished third out of four scoring teams with a 449.

Jordan Fenney (Erin, Wis./Hartford Union) led the Warriors with a fifth-place finish in the 19-player field with her score of 105. Alex Hackel (Crete, Ill./Illinois Lutheran) also finished inside the top 10 with a 108 for eighth place.

Rachael Wendt (Seymour, Wis./Seymour) totaled a 113 on the par-72, 5802-yard course. Also competing for WLC was Katherine Seidler (St. Joseph, Mich./Michigan Lutheran), who carded a 123, and Jordan Pagel (Neenah, Wis./Fox Valley Lutheran), who finished with a 150.

Marian's Angela Krueger earned medalist honors with her 13-over 85. The Sabres won the event with a team score of 413.

WLC closes out its fall schedule October 5-7 when it competes in the NACC Championship at Trappers Turn Golf Club in Wisconsin Dells.
