MEQUON, Wis. - Jordan Fenney (Erin, Wis./Hartford Union) fired a season-low 94 to lead the Wisconsin Lutheran College women's golf team to a school-record round of 402 Tuesday at the Falcon Invitational at Mee-Kwon Park Golf Course. The Warriors finished second of three teams at the event.
Fenney's round of 94 placed her second overall in the 14-player field on the par-70, 5882-yard course. Alex Hackel (Crete, Ill./Illinois Lutheran) was fifth with a 99. Ashley Miller (Cedarburg, Wis./Kettle Moraine Lutheran) and Rachael Wendt (Seymour, Wis./Seymour) finished one stroke apart with a 104 and 105, respectively. Katherine Seidler (St. Joseph, Mich./Michigan Lutheran) concluded the Warriors' lineup with a 113.
Concordia Wisconsin's Nina Puch topped the field with her nine-over 79. The Falcons shot a combined 373 to take home top team honors.
Wisconsin Lutheran will be back on the links September 29 for the Marian Triangular at Whispering Springs Golf Club in Fond du Lac.
