WAUWATOSA, Wis. - The Wisconsin Lutheran College women's golf team won its fourth straight event Sunday, topping Alverno 215-265 in a rain-shortened round at Currie Park Golf Course. Nine holes were played opposed to the originally scheduled 18 due to rainfall.
Jordan Fenney (Erin, Wis./Hartford Union) topped the 10-player field with her round of 50 on the par-36, 3004-yard course. Alex Hackel (Crete, Ill./Illinois Lutheran) and Katherine Seidler (St. Joseph, Mich./Michigan Lutheran) tied for second with a 54. Ashley Miller (Cedarburg, Wis./Kettle Moraine Lutheran) followed with a 57 and Rachael Wendt (Seymour, Wis./Seymour) was right behind with a 58. Jordan Pagel (Neenah, Wis./Fox Valley Lutheran), who competed as an individual, fired a 68.
Wisconsin Lutheran returns to the links Tuesday for the Falcon Invitational at the River Club in Mequon. First tee time is scheduled for 12 p.m.
