Katie Boyle is in her fourth season as an assistant coach for the Wisconsin Lutheran College softball team. Boyle, who has coached for several pitching camps and clincs in the Milwaukee area, came to WLC following an impressive playing career at UW-Whitewater.
Boyle wrapped up her softball career at UWW in 2013, when she was named WIAC Pitcher of the Year and First Team All-Midwest Region by the NFCA. She was twice named First Team All-WIAC as a pitcher in 2012 and 2013 and received Third Team All-Midwest Region honors in 2013.
During Boyle’s four seasons (2010-2013) at Whitewater, the Warhawks went 123-45 overall and 45-19 in conference play. The Warhawks advanced to the NCAA Tournament in 2013 after winning the WIAC Tournament. Boyle finished with a career 2.08 earned run average in 424.2 innings pitched. She ranks fifth in school history with 259 strikeouts and owns a career record of 43-19. She also tossed a no-hitter against UW-Stout in 2013.
Boyle graduated from UW-Whitewater in 2014 with a degree in corporate communications.
Following an impressive prep career, Boyle graduated from Thomas More High School in 2009. She currently resides in Greenfield and works as a procurement associate at GMR Marketing.
