Krahn's Career Best Leads Warriors At Midwest Regional

OSHKOSH, Wis. (WLCSports.com) – Junior Chris Krahn (De Pere, Wis.) finished just shy of earning All-Region honors on Saturday at the NCAA Division III Midwest Regional to lead the Wisconsin Lutheran College men's cross country team at the season-ending event.

  • Krahn paced the Warriors for the eighth straight event this season, running a career-best 8K time of 25:52.8 to earn 43rd-place in the 252-runner field.
  • Junior Daniel Bronner (Hartland, Wis.) finished 142nd, clocking a time of 27:40.2.
  • Senior Elijah Tesch (Sun Prairie, Wis.) completed the 8K course in a time of 30:29.3, finishing 218th.
  • Senior Ka Yu Tse (Kowloon, Hong Kong) ran a season-best time of 34:06.7 for 247th..
  • Freshman Caleb Doebler (Hong Kong, China) finished right behind Tse in 248th, finishing with a time of 34:15.2.

 

  • North Central (Ill.) topped the 36-team scoring field with 47 points as the Cardinals had all five of their scoring runners place within the top 15. Chicago's Ryan Cutter was the 8K champion with a time of 24:32.6.

 

  • Today marked the final meet of the 2019 Warriors cross country season. WLC will return to the course next fall.
