Krahn Collects Second Straight All-NACC Accolade

WEST ALLIS, Wis. (WLCSports.com) – Junior Chris Krahn (De Pere, Wis.) earned All-NACC honors for the second straight season to lead the Wisconsin Lutheran College men's cross country team to a seventh-place finish on Saturday at the 2019 Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Championships at Greenfield Park.

  • Top WLC Individual: Chris Krahn, 4th of 77, 27:56.76

  • Krahn paced the Warriors with his sixth top-10 finish of the season, as he placed fourth overall with an 8K time of 27:56.76. It was his second straight all-conference honor after finishing ninth at the championships a season ago.
  • Junior Daniel Bronner (Hartland, Wis.) clocked a time of 29:15.33 to earn a 17th-place finish, just two spots shy of earning all-conference recognition.
  • Senior Elijah Tesch (Sun Prairie, Wis.) performed in the top half of the conference, finishing 40th in a time of 31:50.98.
  • Freshman Caleb Doebler (Hong Kong, China) finished 60th in a time of 34:36.90.
  • Senior Ka Yu Tse (Kowloon, Hong Kong) rounded out the Warriors' scoring, running a time of 37:22.90.
  • WLC finished with 171 points for seventh in the final team standings.

  • MSOE's Blake Bostwick was named NACC Runner of the Year after topping the 8K field with a winning time of 27:34.66. The Raiders had all five of their scoring runners finish in the top 12 to win the team title with 38 points.

  • The Warriors have next week off and will return to the course on Saturday November 16 for the NCAA Division III Midwest Regional. The 8K race is set to start at 11:00 a.m. at Lake Breeze Golf Course in Winneconne.
