WLC Finishes Runner-Up At Warrior Invitational

WEST ALLIS, Wis. (WLCSports.com) - Four runners finished within the top 25 as the Wisconsin Lutheran College men's cross country team placed second out of 15 scoring teams with 61 points Saturday at the Warrior Invitational held at Greenfield Park. Jacob Jodat (Pewaukee, Wis.) led the way for the Warriors with a third-place finish.

  • Jodat recorded a third place finish with a time of 26:01.40.
  • Jordan Donart (De Pere, Wis.) placed 18th in a time of 28.01.33,
  • Javier Cano-Telles (Milwaukee, Wis.) finished a step behind Donart to place 19th in a time of 28:04.30.
  • Daniel Bronner (Hartland, Wis.) crossed the line just behind Cano-Telles to finish 20th with a time of 28:04.84.
  • Chris Krahn (De Pere, Wis.) ran a time of 28:32.31 good for a 31st-place finish.


  • Principia's Shane Witters Hicks won the individual crown with a new course record of 25:50.07.
  • Martin Luther won the team title with 50 points with four of its runners placing in the top 25. MLC edged out the second place host team by 11 points.


  • Wisconsin Lutheran will race again next Saturday at the DeSales Invitational in Center Valley, Pa. The men's 8K race begins at 9:30 a.m.
