Josh Strasser is in his first season as an assistant coach for the Wisconsin Lutheran College men's and women's track & field teams.
Strasser joins the Warriors coaching staff after graduating from the University of Montana, where he earned a bachelor's degree in history. Strasser was a two-year letterwinner for the Grizzlies while competing as a sprinter. He was a member of the varsity (A) relay team and the 2014 team that placed third at the Big Sky Indoor Championships.
A 2013 graduate of Kettle Moraine Lutheran High School, Strasser participated in basketball, cross country, football, and track & field. He was a four-time WIAA State Championship qualifier and an All-Flyway Conference performer in cross country. Strasser posted times of 49.36 in the 400 and 22.82 in the 200 as a junior at KML. The sprinter is a part of three school records (4x100 relay, 4x200 relay, 4x400 relay).
Strasser resides in West Bend and is enrolled in the college’s Master of Education program, specializing in secondary education.
