Warriors Compete At Panther Tune-Up

MILWAUKEE (WLCSports.com) – Chris Krahn (De Pere, Wis.) ran to a second-place finish in the Mile run and three runners placed inside the top five of the 800m run Saturday as the Wisconsin Lutheran College men's track & field team competed at the Panther Tune-Up. Team scores were not recorded at the event.

  • Krahn raced to a second-place finish in the Mile with a time of 4:30.59 while Brady Stuck (Germantown, Wis.) placed sixth with a time of 4:46.49.
  • Jonah Jahns (Germantown, Wis.) sprinted to a third-place finish in the 200m dash, posting a time of 23.27, with Dylan Chirigotis taking seventh with a mark of 24.14. Chirigotis also registered a sixth-place finish in the 60m dash with a 7.34 second sprint.
  • Daniel Bronner (Hartland, Wis.) raced to a third-place finish in the 3,000m run with a time of 9:06.68 while Krahn placed fifth with a 9:26.57 mark and Javier Cano-Telles (Milwaukee, Wis.) placed seventh, posting a time of 9:35.37.
  • Tyler Punzel (Watertown, Wis.) finished the 800m run with a time of 2:07.77, good for a third-place finish while teammates Elijah Tesch (Sun Prairie, Wis.) and Grant Schroeder (Sheboygan, Wis.) placed fourth and fifth with times of 2:09.91 and 2:14.76, respectively.
  • Joel Schamber (Wyoming, Mich.) placed sixth in the 60m Hurdles with a time of 8.98.
  • Keith Bowling (Jefferson, Wis.) placed third in the Triple Jump with a mark of 12.88m and jumped to a seventh-place finish in the Long Jump, posting a leap of 6.03m.
  • Sasha Bornschlegl (Rochester, Minn.) placed fifth in the Shot Put with a mark of 12.75m. Todd O'Dell Jr. (Manteno, Ill.) placed seventh with a throw of 10.92m and Cole Kuehl (Richland, Mich.) was eighth, posting a throw of 10.48m.
  • Connor Young (Kenosha, Wis.) placed fifth in the Weight Throw with a mark of 10.84m. Kuehl followed with a sixth-place finish at 10.48m. O'Dell tallied a seventh-place finish at 10.46m and Adam Pagel (Kenosha, Wis.) rounded out the throwers with a mark of 10.40m.

  • The Warriors travel to Kenosha next Saturday for the NACC Indoor Championships. Events are scheduled to begin at 11:00 a.m. inside the Tarble Athletic and Recreation Center on the Carthage campus.
