Warriors Start 2019 Slate At UW-Whitewater

WHITEWATER, Wis. (WLCSports.com) – The Wisconsin Lutheran College men's track & field team opened the 2019 portion of its indoor schedule at the UW-Whitewater Karl Schlender Invitational Saturday.


  • Event: UW-Whitewater Karl Schlender Invitational

  • Location: Williams Center, Whitewater, Wis.


  • Brady Stuck (Hubertus, Wis.) ran his first race of the season, placing ninth in the mile run with a time of 4:59.59.
  • Keith Bowling (Jefferson Wis.) competed in the long jump and scored a ninth-place finish with a leap of 6.36 meters.
  • Joel Schamber (Wyoming, Mich.) finished 10th in the 60-meter hurdles prelims and posted a time of 9.41 seconds.
  • Invite host UW-Whitewater won nine events and scored 274.5 points en route to the seven-team scoring title.


  • The Warriors will compete again next Friday at the UW-Oshkosh Titan Twilight Invitational. Events are scheduled to start at 3:30 p.m. inside the Kolf Sports Center.
