Warriors Compete At North Central's Dr. Keeler Invitational

NAPERVILLE, Ill. - Five members of the Wisconsin Lutheran College men's track & field team competed Thursday and Friday at the Dr. Keeler Invitational hosted by North Central. Team scores were not recorded at the 'last chance' meet.

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • Freshman Javier Cano-Telles (Milwaukee, Wis./Wisconsin Lutheran) finished 11th in the 10,000 meters on Thursday night with a season-best time of 32:54.18.
  • Junior Jacob Jodat (Pewaukee, Wis./Waukesha North) finished the 1500 meters in 3:59.54, less than a second off his own school record. Jodat came in 22nd out of 78 competitors in the event.
  • Junior Jared Bruemmer (Hanover Park, Ill./Hoffman Estates) placed 20th in the javelin throw and 28th in the long jump for the Warriors with marks of 39.74 meters and 5.80 meters, respectively.
  • Freshman Caleb Tomlin (Menomonee Falls, Wis./Luther Preparatory) finished 29th in the 400-meter dash with a time of 52.55.
  • Colin Sheahan (Oostburg, Wis./Oostburg) competed in the 400-meter hurdles, finishing with a time of 1:05.69.
