Warriors Tune-Up For NACC Indoor Championships

MILWAUKEE - ­The Wisconsin Lutheran College men's track & field team competed on Friday at the Panther Tune-Up on the campus of UW-Milwaukee inside the Klotsche Center.

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • Jordan Donart (De Pere, Wis./Fox Valley Lutheran) raced to a second-place finish in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:00.71.
  • Jacob Jodat (Pewaukee, Wis./Waukesha North) finished second in the 3000-meter run in 8:53.60. In the 1-mile run, Jodat crossed the finish line in third with a mark of 4:25.89.
  • Chase Robles (New Berlin, Wis./West) placed seventh in the 3,000 with a time of 9:13.70. Robles also competed in the 1-mile run, where he placed sixth after crossing the finish in a time of 4:37.37.
  • In the pole vault event, Jeremy Fierros (Crystal Lake, Ill./Central) placed seventh after clearing a height of 3.40 meters.
  • The Warriors' 4x400-meter relay team of Caleb Tomlin (Menomonee Falls, Wis./Luther Preparatory), Shemron Ross (Grand Anse, Grenada/Happy Hill Secondary), Zeke Malchow (Jackson, Wis./Kettle Moraine Lutheran), and Donart finished second after crossing the line in 3:46.39.
  • No team scores were recorded at the event.

UP NEXT

  • The Warriors will compete again next Saturday at the NACC Indoor Championships in Kenosha. Events are scheduled to begin inside the Tarble Athletic and Recreation Complex at 11 a.m.
