MILWAUKEE – Chase Robles (New Berlin, Wis./West) and Isaac Hill (Racine, Wis./Shoreland Lutheran) finished second and third in the 10,000 meters as the Wisconsin Lutheran College men's track & field team finished sixth out of 10 teams at the NACC Outdoor Championships Friday and Saturday at Raabe Stadium. The Warriors finished with 47.0 team points.
Robles finished the 10,000 meters with a time of 32:58.47 and Hill was right behind with a time of 33:28.82. He also finished fifth in the 5,000 meters with a time of 16:24.24.
Mike Reeves (Hoffman Estates, Ill./Hoffman Estates) placed fifth in the 100 meters (11.01), sixth in the 200 meters (22.98), and seventh in the triple jump (12.52 meters).
Jordan Donart (De Pere, Wis./Fox Valley Lutheran) finished fifth in the 800 meters with a time of 2:01.73.
Danny Hafenstien (Lake Mills, Wis./Lakeside Lutheran) was sixth in the 1500 meters finishing in 4:12.66. He also placed eighth in the 3000 meter steeplechase with a time of 10:22.75
Colin Sheahan (Oostburg, Wis./Oostburg) competed in the 400 meter hurdles and crossed the line in sixth at 1:05.01.
The 4x100 meter relay team of Jared Bruemmer (Hanover Park, Ill./Hoffman Estates), Sheahan, Mitchell Schneider (Muskego, Wis./Wisconsin Lutheran), and Alexander Kirk (Waukesha, Wis./North) (45.16) as well as the 4x400 meter relay team of Bruemmer, Sheahan, Kirk, and Donart (3:41.06) scored a pair of sixth-place finishes.
Andrew Stumpner (Crystal Lake, Ill./South) placed seventh in the shot put with a distance of 12.24 meters. Jacob Jodat (Pewaukee, Wis./Waukesha North) rounded out the scoring with an eighth-place finish in the 5,000 meters (16:38.12).
Aurora won the conference title with a total of 266.5 points.
Wisconsin Lutheran will next compete in the Dr. Keeler Invitational Thursday and Friday at Benedetti-Wehrli Stadium in Naperville, Ill.
