Men's Track & Field Fourth At Warrior Invitational

MILWAUKEE - The Wisconsin Lutheran College men's track & field team scored 88 points to place fourth out of seven teams at the Warrior Invitational Saturday at Raabe Stadium.

Isaac Hill (Racine, Wis./Shoreland Lutheran) won the 5,000-meter run with a time of 16:00.90.

Mike Reeves (Hoffman Estates, Ill./Hoffman Estates) won the triple jump with a leap of 12.19 meters. He also placed fourth in the 100 meters, crossing the line in 11.25, and finished the 200 meters in 23.20.

Chase Robles (New Berlin, Wis./West) placed second in the mile, breaking the school record with a time of 4:27.78. Jacob Jodat (Pewaukee, Wis./Waukesha North) also competed in the event, finishing in 4:50.37.

Wisconsin Lutheran's 4x400-meter relay team (3:38.49), sprint medley (1:41.22), and distance medley (11:13:44) all took home third place finishes.

Jared Bruemmer (Hanover Park, Ill./Hoffman Estates) finished sixth in the long jump with a leap of 6.08 meters. He placed 10th in the javelin with a toss of 29.50 meters, and competed in the 100 meters with a time of 11.76.

Jordan Donart (De Pere, Wis./Fox Valley Lutheran) took seventh in the 800 meters in 2:08.30. Sam Wallace (Appleton, Wis./Fox Valley Lutheran) also finished seventh in the 5,000 meters, crossing the line in 16:52.98. Alexander Kirk (Waukesha, Wis./North) finished eighth in the 400 meters in 55.37.

Colin Sheahan (Oostburg, Wis./Oostburg) competed the 200 meters (25.05) and Josh Eickhoff (Manitowoc, Wis./Lutheran) raced in the 5,000 meters (18:34.45).

In the field events, Jeremy Fierros (Crystal Lake, Ill./Central) place third in the pole vault with a distance of 3.51 meters and sixth in the javelin with a toss of 37.45 meters. Mitchell Schneider (Muskego, Wis./Wisconsin Lutheran) took home ninth in the long jump with a leap of 5.72 meters.

Andrew Stumpner (Crystal Lake, Ill./South) had a trio of top-10 finishes, taking fourth in the shot put (12.11 meters), seventh in the hammer (28.06 meters), and 10th in the discus (26.59 meters).

St. Norbert won the meet with 243 points.

Wisconsin Lutheran will compete at the St. Norbert Invitational next Saturday at Schneider Stadium in De Pere. Events begin at 10:30 a.m.
