MILWAUKEE - The Wisconsin Lutheran College men's soccer team scored five second-half goals on its way to a 7-0 victory over Rockford in a Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference game Saturday at Warrior Field.
WLC (4-3-3, 1-0-1 NACC) got on the board in the 12th minute on Austin Drake's (East Troy, Wis./East Troy) fourth goal of the season, assisted by Ryan Kurth (Pleasant Prairie, Wis./Shoreland Lutheran). Nate Wasser (Lake Geneva, Wis./Shoreland Lutheran) struck in the 23rd minute to give the Warriors a 2-0 lead, assisted by Jake Semmann (Grafton, Wis./Kettle Moraine Lutheran).
Wasser scored again less than two minutes into the second half. The unassisted goal was his team-leading eighth of the season. He has scored multiple goals in three of the Warriors' last five games.
Enrique Arreola (Anna, Ill./Anna-Jonesboro) scored back-to-back goals, his second and third of the season, in the 68th and 78th minute to make it 5-0.
Semmann netted his second goal of the season in the 83rd minute, and the Warriors final goal came on an own goal by Rockford (0-9-0, 0-3-0 NACC).
Warriors goalkeeper Jon Stewart (Waukesha, Wis./South) made one save. Felipe Juarez made seven saves for the Regents.
The Warriors (4-3-3, 1-0-1 NACC) return to action with a NACC game at Marian (3-4-1, 0-3-0 NACC) Tuesday night at 7 p.m.
