Warriors Card Fifth-Place Finish At Own Invitational

HARTFORD, Wis. (WLCSports.com) – The Wisconsin Lutheran College men's golf team registered a fifth-place finish of 17 teams at its home Fall Invitational Sunday and Monday at Washington County Golf Course. The Warriors were led by Tim Pridemore (Hartford, Wis.), who carded a 151 (+7) over the two rounds and tied for 11th overall in the 95-player scoring field.

  • Pridemore led the Warriors with a team-best 74 in the first round and a 77 in the second round for a tournament total of 151 (+7). It was his lowest two-round score of the season.
  • Damon Gnewikow (Warrens, Wis.) also carded a season low 154 (+10), placing him in a tie for 15th.
  • Johnny Kositzky Jr (Escanaba, Mich.) posted a 159 (+15) playing as an individual and placing 32nd.
  • Derick Disch (Greenfield, Wis.) fired rounds of 78 and 82, totaling 160 (+16).
  • Ben Landvatter (Watertown, Wis.) also posted a two-round total of 160 (+16), tying for 37th.
  • Quinn Schultz (Chaseburg, Wis.) carded a two-round total of 169 (+25).
  • Individually, Tim Anderson (Fond du Lac, Wis.) scored a 185 (+41).
  • The Warriors fired a season-low 310 (+22) in the first round before a 314 in round two.
  • Wisconsin Lutheran hosted the largest tournament field since 2013 when it hosted 18 teams and 95 players.



  • Carthage carded a tournament-low 296 in the second round to win the title by six strokes over runner-up Saint Mary's. The Red Men won the tournament for the fourth straight year.
  • Lake Forest's Jacob Krugman and MSOE's Sullivan Schrandt tied for first place in the tournament with even-par 144s. Schrandt earned the tiebreaker after his tournament-low 68 (-4) in the second round.


  • The Warriors will complete the fall portion of their season with the first two rounds of the NACC Championship October 8-9 at the Irish at Whistling Straits in Haven. First round tee time is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Sunday, October 8.
