Joel Cline is in his second season as an assistant coach for the Wisconsin Lutheran College men’s basketball team.

Cline joined the Warriors coaching staff after a four-year playing career at North Central University, where he was a First Team All-UMAC and NCCAA All-Region performer. He was tabbed as NCU's Male Athlete of the Year in 2017-2018.

During his senior season with the Rams, Cline averaged 13.7 points, 8.9 rebounds, and 3.0 assists per game. Cline ranks 17th all-time in North Central history with 1,150 career points and fourth all-time with 707 rebounds. He was a two-time team captain, starting 75 of 105 career games played.

Cline was a member of the Rams team that placed fourth in the NCCAA D2 National Tournament in 2016.

A 2014 graduate of Green Bay Southwest High School, Cline was a two-sport standout for the Trojans. He was tabbed Second Team All-FRCC for basketball in 2013-2014. 

Cline has worked with The Driveway, a basketball training center in Green Bay where he served as camp and clinic assistant, working with grades 3-12 on a variety of basketball skills.

Cline, who is pursuing his Master of Arts in leadership and innovation from WLC, resides in Milwaukee.
