MILWAUKEE (WLCSports.com) – The Wisconsin Lutheran College men's basketball team will play an exhibition game against NCAA Division I intracity opponent Milwaukee during its 2019-2020 season, third-year head coach Aaron Aanonsen announced recently.
"We are excited to once again have the opportunity to face a quality Division I opponent," said Aanonsen. "This will be a great experience for our student-athletes."
The Warriors will match up against the Milwaukee Panthers Tuesday, November 12 with tip-off scheduled for 7:00 p.m. at UWM Panther Arena. This marks the Warriors' eighth Division I opponent during the program's 37-year history.
Wisconsin Lutheran, which faced Milwaukee in an exhibition game each of the past two seasons, finished the 2018-2019 season with a 12-13 overall record and a 10-10 mark in the NACC.
The Panthers finished with a 9-22 overall record this past season along with a 4-14 record in the Horizon League.
The contest will be a regular season game for Milwaukee.
