Ignaszak Secures Second NACC Weekly Award

MILWAUKEE (WLCSports.com) – Wisconsin Lutheran College's Mykael Ignaszak (Cudahy, Wis.) has been named the NACC Football Defensive Student-Athlete of the Week for games played Oct. 5, 2019, as selected by the league's sports information directors. This is Ignaszak's second NACC Student-Athlete of the Week award of the 2019 season.

Ignaszak, a junior defensive back, recorded a game- and career-high 19 tackles (nine solo) in Wisconsin Lutheran's 27-13 conference-opening win at Rockford. He also added 2.5 tackles for loss, including a pair of sacks. Ignaszak also punted three times for a 36.3-yard average, dropping one of the three kicks inside the Rockford 20-yard line. 

The Warriors finally return home to Raabe Stadium for the first time in over a month when they host Eureka (2-2, 0-1 NACC) Saturday for Hall of Fame Day. Kickoff is scheduled for 4:00 p.m. Live stats and video will be available at WLCSports.com.
