Bornschlegl Collects Season's Second NACC Award

MILWAUKEE (WLCSports.com) - Wisconsin Lutheran College's Sasha Bornschlegl (Rochester, Minn.) has been named the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Football Special Teams Student-Athlete of the Week for the week of October 29-November 4, as selected by the league's sports information directors. This is the second conference weekly award for the senior specialist this season.

Bornschlegl connected on three field goals, including what proved to be the game-winning 44-yarder with 3:31 to play in WLC's 30-27 win over Concordia Chicago Saturday. His other field goals came from 24 and 36 yards out. Bornschlegl also punted three times for an average of 48 yards with a long of 62, dropping two kicks inside the Cougars' 20-yard line. 

The Warriors (2-7, 2-4 NACC) wrap up their 2018 season Saturday with a 12:00 p.m. Lutheran Bowl kickoff at Concordia Wisconsin (6-3, 4-2 NACC). WLC has won four straight rivalry games over CUW.
