Korben Biersack is in his fourth season as an assistant coach for the Wisconsin Lutheran College baseball team. Biersack works primarily with the catchers, a position he played for the Warriors from 2012-2015. Biersack also serves as the Servant Leadership coordinator for the team where he leads community service and leadership opportunities.
Biersack returned to his alma mater, where he played in 60 career games and collected 44 hits and drove in 17 runs. He was a part of three straight winning seasons at Wisconsin Lutheran, including the 2013 team which won three games in its only NACC Tournament appearance to date. The Greenfield native also served as the primary catcher for the NCAA’s ERA leader, Garrick Day, in 2014.
Biersack was an assistant coach at his alma mater, Greenfield High School, for seven seasons. The Hustlin’ Hawks won the 2015 Woodland Conference baseball championship.
Biersack is an elementary special education teacher in the Elmbrook School District. He and his wife, Emily, reside in Brookfield.
