Skip Noon is in his 20th year as Director of Athletics at Wisconsin Lutheran College. Noon, who is also the head men's basketball coach for the Warriors, is currently the longest tenured Director of Athletics in the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference.

Under Noon's leadership, WLC Athletics has undergone major changes, most recently the renovations to the Recreation Complex, Neumann Family Fields, and the addition of the Outdoor Athletic Center. Noon played an integral role in adding 10 sports during his tenure as WLC's Director of Athletics.

The Warriors have won 22 conference championships and have advanced to the NCAA Tournament 13 times since Noon's appointment. WLC's women's basketball team has advanced to the NCAA Tournament a department-best eight times, while men's golf (2015, 2016), men's tennis (2014), women's tennis (2012), and men's basketball (2006) have also reached the postseason.

Noon has also had great success as head men's basketball coach for the Warriors, a position he has held since the 1992-1993 season. As the second-longest tenured coach in the state of Wisconsin, Noon has coached the Warriors to more than 300 wins and six conference championships. He and the Warriors are linked to the most dominant period in Lake Michigan Conference history, winning six regular-season titles in seven years, including a string of five titles in a row (1996-2000), a feat unmatched in the former conference. After a one-year blip, the Warriors claimed another title in 2002.

Noon came to Wisconsin Lutheran in the fall of 1992 as the men's basketball coach and associate athletic director. Prior to his arrival, Noon worked for nearly six years at Michigan Lutheran High School (St. Joseph, Mich.) beginning in 1987. There he taught in the math and business departments. He also coached boys' basketball in the winter, girls' basketball in the fall, and track & field in the spring.

In 1986, Noon graduated from Dr. Martin Luther College with a bachelor's degree in elementary education. He was a cornerback in football and a forward in basketball, earning all-conference honors in both sports. In track & field, he ran the 200- and 400-meters, and competed as a high jumper.

Noon, who is finishing up his master's degree from the United States Sports Academy, was born November 17, 1964 in Tucson, Ariz. He and his wife, Amy, currently live in Menomonee Falls with their daughter, Miranda, and dog, Izzie.
