Duane Mueller, Licensed Athletic Trainer, is in his second year at Wisconsin Lutheran College and currently serves as Head Athletic Trainer. Prior to coming to WLC, Mueller served as Head Athletic Trainer at Wisconsin Lutheran High School for eight years. He was also the sports medicine intern for the Milwaukee Bucks during the 2004-2005 and 2005-2006 seasons.
Since 2006, Mueller has been employed as an athletic trainer at Froedtert & The Medical College of Wisconsin Sports Medicine Center. He is a NASM Certified Performance Enhancement Specialist and serves as the Internship Coordinator for Athletic Training and the Performance Enhancement Program (PEP). Mueller works with various athletes and active people doing therapy and treatment at the clinic, and trains athletes on injury prevention and sports specific performance in the Performance Enhancement Program (PEP).
Mueller attended UW-Madison for a year to study mechanical engineering before transferring to UW-Milwaukee where he received a bachelor of science degree in athletic training in 2005. A 2000 graduate of Nicolet High School, Mueller lettered in basketball and track & field.
Mueller lives in Germantown with his wife, Tiwana, son, Jameer, and daughter, Samantha.
