Bill Curtis is in his ninth season as head softball coach at Wisconsin Lutheran College. Curtis was named the program's ninth head coach in May 2011. He also serves the college as Director of Athletic Development.

WLC posted a 23-17 overall record and an 11-11 mark in conference play to qualify for the NACC Tournament for the second straight season and fifth time overall in 2019. The Warriors won two games in the NACC Tournament for the first time in program history and their 23 wins are the second-most all-time.

The 2014 NACC Co-Coach of the Year, Curtis guided the Warriors to their best season in program history as they finished 27-16 overall. The Warriors' 16-6 conference record tied the 2008 squad for most league victories. Wisconsin Lutheran made its third appearance in the NACC Tournament after winning 11 of its final 12 regular season games to solidify the tournament's second seed.

Curtis has mentored 13 players to a total of 27 postseason honors in eight seasons as head coach.

Curtis came to Wisconsin Lutheran after serving for four seasons (2008-2011) as the head girls' varsity softball coach at nearby Wisconsin Lutheran High School.

Curtis received a bachelor of science degree in elementary education from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 1980. Since 1983, he has held sales management positions in the Milwaukee area with Airborne Express, Corporate Express, Pilot Air Freight, and Unishippers. In addition, Curtis has managed and coached the Masters swim program for the Southwest YMCA.

Curtis and his wife, Jean, reside in Cedarburg. They have two older sons, Jake and Bill, and a daughter, Jinny.
