Adam Heinzen, a 2006 graduate of Wisconsin Lutheran College, is in his 13th year as Director of Athletic Communications at WLC.
Heinzen, a member of the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA), is the primary contact for all 18 of Wisconsin Lutheran's intercollegiate varsity sports teams. He oversees the athletics department website, WLCSports.com, social media platforms, athletics publications, in-game statistics, and game day operations.
Since arriving at WLC, Heinzen has directed two graphical redesigns of WLCSports.com and received three awards from CoSIDA in its annual publications contest. He has also served as host of several conference championships and worked a pair of NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Tournaments. In summer 2018, Heinzen and Wisconsin Lutheran hosted the MDIII SID Convention, which brought 70 athletic communication professionals to Milwaukee for two days of professional development.
Heinzen graduated from Wisconsin Lutheran in 2006 with a bachelor's degree in communicative arts. As a student at WLC, he worked in the sports information office for three years performing a variety of duties.
The Manitowoc native resides in Milwaukee.
