Northern Athletics Conference
Wisconsin Lutheran College is a member of the Northern Athletics Conference (NAC). Although students who compete in the conference do not receive athletic scholarships, competition between and among the conference colleges demonstrates the skill, enthusiasm, and competitive spirit associated with college athletics. Other members of the Northern Athletics Conference include: Alverno College, Aurora University (Ill.), Benedictine University (Ill.), Concordia University Chicago (Ill.), Concordia University Wisconsin, Dominican University (Ill.), Edgewood College, Lakeland College, Maranatha Baptist Bible College, Marian College, Milwaukee School of Engineering and Rockford College (Ill.).
Prior to their transition to the Northern Athletics Confernece, Wisconsin Lutheran College had been a member of the Lake Michigan Conference since 1987.
NCAA
Wisconsin Lutheran is a member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III. In 1995, WLC moved from the NAIA to the NCAA. All Wisconsin Lutheran College intercollegiate teams participate under the rules of Division III of the NCAA.
