Warriors Compete At Gill Athletics Final Qualifier
Three athletes compete for WLC at last chance event

WLC will compete again Saturday at UWSPKENOSHA, Wis. - The Wisconsin Lutheran College men’s track & field team competed at the Gill Athletics “Final Qualifier” Invite Friday at Carthage's Tarble Athletic and Recreation Center.
In the 55 meter-hurdles, freshman Ryan George placed fourth with a time of 8.30.
Freshman BJ Ropel (Mayville, Wis./Mayville) placed 10th in the 5,000-meter run with a time of 16:19.08. Junior Tommy Jones (Delavan, Wis./Delavan-Darien) also competed in the same event, finishing 16th in 17:21.56.
Wisconsin Lutheran will next compete Saturday at the Pointer Qualifier hosted by Wis.-Stevens Point. Events are scheduled to start at 10:30 a.m. at the Multi-Activity Center.
