OSHKOSH, Wis. - Sophomores Amanda Bregger (Waukesha, Wis./South) and Amberly Weiglein (Brownsville, Wis./Winnebago Lutheran) each set school records as the Wisconsin Lutheran College women’s track & field team placed sixth at the Wis.-Oshkosh Invitational Friday at the Kolf Fieldhouse.

Bregger broke her own school record for the second consecutive week in the pole vault as she cleared 3.20 meters, topping her best height of 3.07 meters from last weekend’s event at Wis.-Whitewater. The 3.20 meters was good for third place in the event. Kristi Grobe also competed in the pole vault for WLC and placed sixth, clearing 2.74 meters in her first collegiate meet.

Also setting a school record Friday was Weiglein, who posted the school's fastest time in the 60-meter dash with a time of 8.37. Weiglein placed sixth in the event. She also competed in the 200-meter dash, completing that sprint in a time of 28.51.

Sophomore Amanda Markham (Oostburg, Wis./Oostburg) also had a solid night for the Warriors as she placed fourth in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 9.92. Sophomore Jenny Ebeling (Muskego, Wis./Wisconsin Lutheran) and junior Chris Sosinski (Antioch, Ill./Shoreland Lutheran) both ran in the 800-meter run as Ebeling crossed the finish line in 2:37.71, while Sosinski followed with a time of 2:48.82. Also competing for WLC was Morgan Huibregtse (Oostburg, Wis./Oostburg) in the 3,000-meter run as the freshman completed that race in a time of 13:17.77.
