Stodola Caps Career With Third NAC Weekly Award

Caught school-record 11th touchdown of the season Saturday

WAUKESHA, Wis. - Wisconsin Lutheran College senior wide receiver Josh Stodola (Denmark, Wis./Denmark) has been named the Northern Athletics Conference Football Offensive Student-Athlete of the Week for the events of November 5-11, the conference office announced Monday.

Stodola caught 10 passes for 134 yards and a touchdown in the Warriors' final game Saturday at Concordia Wisconsin. The senior wide receiver's 64-yard touchdown catch was his 11th of the season, setting a single-season school record for receiving touchdowns.

The weekly award was the third of the season for Stodola, the most for any player in the NAC this season. Senior quarterback  Zach Shaw (Gurnee, Ill./Warren Township) also netted one weekly award, giving the Warriors four of the 10 offensive weekly honors this season.

The Warriors finished their 2012 season with a 7-3 record, setting a school record for most wins in a season. WLC also went 5-2 in the NAC for third place in the eight-team league.
