Curtis collects NAC weekly award
Sophomore hit .571 in home-opening doubleheader

WAUKESHA, Wis. - Wisconsin Lutheran College sophomore Jinny Curtis (Muskego, Wis./Wisconsin Lutheran) has been named the Northern Athletics Conference Softball Position Player Student-Athlete of the Week for the games of March 19-25, the conference office announced on Monday.
Curtis hit .571 in two games this past weekend for the Warriors (5-7) in their home-opening doubleheader against Northland. The sophomore shortstop had a monstrous first game at the plate as she went 4-for-4 with three RBI, two doubles, and two runs scored. She also stole a base and scored another run in game two of the doubleheader.
Curtis and Wisconsin Lutheran open their NAC schedule on Saturday when they host Maranatha (4-2) at Warrior Field. First pitch of the doubleheader versus the Crusaders is scheduled for 12 p.m.
